Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 24, 2026

Summary: Streamora is a player application that allows users to create optional accounts for enhanced functionality and cross-device synchronization. If you create a Streamora account, we collect limited personal information (email, username, password, watch history, favorites, and settings) necessary for account management and syncing your experience across devices. This information is securely stored and encrypted. If you do not create an account, the app does not collect personal information and acts solely as an interface between you and your IPTV service provider. Streamora also records a small amount of anonymous usage data — whether setup and playback succeeded or failed, and the reason for a failure — so we can fix what is broken. It never includes what you watch or your provider's credentials, and it can be switched off in Settings.

This Privacy Policy describes how Streamora ("we", "our", or "the App") handles your information when you use our application.

1.Information We Do NOT Collect

Streamora does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following information:

If you create a Streamora account, certain personal information is collected for account creation and management (see Section 2.1 below). The following items are still NOT collected regardless of account status:
  • Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number)
  • Location data
  • The names of channels, movies, or series you watch
  • Your IPTV provider's address, username, or password — unless you turn on cross-device sync, in which case they are encrypted on your device before upload (see Section 2.2)
  • Advertising identifiers, or any data sold or shared with advertisers
  • Cookies or cross-site tracking technologies
Streamora does collect a small amount of anonymous usage data to find out where the app is failing — see Section 3.3. It contains no personal information and no record of what you watch, and you can switch it off in the app.

2.Information Stored Locally on Your Device

If you do not sign in, the following information stays on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers. If you sign in and turn on cross-device sync, it is also copied to your Streamora account as described in Section 2.2.

  • Portal Credentials: Your Stalker Portal URL, MAC address, serial number, and device model information that you configure to connect to your IPTV provider
  • Favorites: Your saved favorite channels and content
  • Playlists: Custom playlists you create
  • App Preferences: Settings and configurations you make within the app

This data remains on your device and is only used to provide the app's functionality. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the app's data through your device settings or uninstalling the app.

2.1 User Account Information

When you create a Streamora account, we collect the following information for account registration, authentication, and cross-device synchronization:

  • Email Address: Used for account identification and password recovery
  • Username: For account login and display purposes
  • Password: Encrypted and stored securely using industry-standard encryption
  • Watch History: Your viewing history to provide personalized recommendations and resume playback
  • Favorite Items: Your saved favorite channels and content for quick access across devices
  • Account Settings and Preferences: Display preferences, playback quality settings, and other app configurations to sync across your devices
  • Account Creation Date: Timestamp of when your account was created

Data Storage: All account information is encrypted and stored securely on our servers. Your password is hashed using industry-standard encryption and cannot be read by Streamora staff.

Data Retention: Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated personal data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. See Delete your account.

2.2 IPTV Provider Credentials and Cross-Device Sync

Cross-device sync is optional and only runs while you are signed in to a Streamora account. If you never sign in, your provider credentials never leave your device.

When sync is on, the sensitive part of each provider you have configured — the server address, username and password for Xtream Codes and M3U services, or the portal address and MAC address for Stalker/MAG portals — is encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM before it is uploaded. Only the resulting ciphertext is stored in our database. The encryption key is unique to your account: it is generated on our servers, protected with Google Cloud KMS, and released only to your own signed-in devices.

To be precise about what this does and does not mean: because we hold the wrapped key, this is strong encryption at rest — but it is not end-to-end encryption, and we do not claim it is. What it does guarantee is that your provider credentials are never stored in readable form, are never visible in our database, and are never used by us for any purpose other than delivering them back to your own devices.

The following non-secret details are stored alongside the ciphertext so your provider list can be displayed before decryption: the label you gave the provider, its type, the server's display name, and any device identifiers your portal requires for its handshake.

Your Streamora account password is never stored by us at all — authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.

3.Third-Party Services

3.1 IPTV Service Provider

When you use IPTV Portal Player, you connect directly to your chosen IPTV service provider's Stalker Portal. Any data transmitted during streaming goes directly between your device and your IPTV provider. We do not intercept, collect, or have access to this data.

Your IPTV provider may have their own privacy policy and data collection practices. We recommend reviewing your IPTV provider's privacy policy to understand how they handle your data.

3.2 App Store Services

Streamora is distributed through various app stores. These app stores may collect certain information as part of their service, including:

  • App installation and update information
  • Crash reports (if enabled in your device settings)
  • Device compatibility information

Please refer to your app store's privacy policy for more information about their data collection practices.

3.3 Anonymous Usage Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)

Streamora uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand where the app fails during setup. Most people who install an IPTV player and never get it working leave without telling us why; these measurements exist to find and fix those failures.

What is recorded:

  • That the "add a provider" screen was shown, and whether the help text was opened
  • That adding a provider was attempted, and whether it succeeded or failed
  • Why it failed, as a fixed category only — for example "login rejected", "server did not respond", "subscription expired". The provider's own error text is never sent.
  • That playback started, failed, or ran successfully, and the type of content (live, movie, series, radio)

What is never recorded: your provider's server address, username, password or MAC address; the name of any channel, movie or series; any playlist contents; your location; or any advertising identifier. Streamora does not sell or share this data, and it is not used for advertising.

Firebase assigns a random installation identifier so repeat events from one device can be counted once. It is not linked to your Streamora account or to you personally.

Turning it off: analytics can be disabled at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage data. Turning it off stops collection immediately and the app remains fully functional.

Firebase Analytics is operated by Google. See Firebase's privacy documentation for details of their handling.

4.App Permissions

Streamora requires certain permissions to function properly:

  • Internet Access: Required to connect to your IPTV provider's servers and stream content
  • Network State: To check if you have an active internet connection
  • Device Power Management: To prevent your device from sleeping during video playback

These permissions are used solely for the app's core functionality and do not enable any data collection.

5.Data Security

Streamora employs multiple layers of security to protect your information:

For Account Data: If you create a Streamora account, your account information is encrypted using industry-standard encryption protocols and stored securely on our servers. Your password is hashed and cannot be read by Streamora staff. Data is encrypted both in transit (using HTTPS) and at rest on our servers, which comply with industry security standards.

For Local Data: All IPTV portal credentials, favorites, playlists, and preferences stored locally on your device are protected by your device's security measures.

We recommend:

  • Using a secure device lock screen
  • Keeping your device's operating system updated
  • Only downloading the app from official app stores

6.Children's Privacy

Streamora is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction), and the app is a neutral player that requires an existing IPTV subscription, which is typically obtained by adults. Creating a Streamora account is entirely optional; if you believe a child has created one, contact us at streamoraiptvplayer@gmail.com and we will delete it.

7.Your Rights and Choices

You have control over your information with Streamora. Your rights depend on whether you have created a Streamora account:

For Local Data (All Users): You have complete control over data stored locally on your device, including portal credentials, favorites, playlists, and preferences. You can access, modify, or delete this data at any time through the app settings or by uninstalling the app.

For Account Data (Account Users): If you have created a Streamora account, you have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of your account information (email, watch history, favorites, settings) by contacting us at streamoraiptvplayer@gmail.com
  • Modification: Update your email address, password, and account preferences within the app settings. Changes sync immediately across all your devices.
  • Account Deletion: Delete your Streamora account and all associated data (email, watch history, favorites, settings). See Delete your account for step-by-step instructions. Your data is permanently removed from Google Cloud Firestore within 30 days. Local device data can be deleted by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.

8.Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. We will notify users of any material changes by:

  • Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
  • Providing an in-app notification (for significant changes)

Your continued use of Streamora after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

9.Content Disclaimer

Streamora is a player application only. We do not provide, host, control, or have any responsibility for the content accessed through the app. All content is provided by your IPTV service provider. We are not responsible for:

  • The content provided by your IPTV service
  • The legality of your IPTV subscription or content
  • Any data collection practices of your IPTV provider
  • The quality, availability, or accuracy of the content

10.International Users

Streamora can be used worldwide. Since we do not collect or process personal data, international data transfer regulations do not apply to our app. However, your IPTV provider may be subject to different privacy laws depending on their location and yours.

11.Legal Compliance

Since Streamora does not collect user data, we do not have any information to provide to law enforcement or legal authorities. Any requests for user information would need to be directed to:

  • Your IPTV service provider (for streaming data)
  • Your app store provider (for app store related information)
  • Your internet service provider (for connection data)
